Dr. Sebastien S. Kairouz, medical oncologist, joined Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois, S.C., in November of 2011. Dr. Kairouz primarily sees patients at our main office at the Cancer Care Center of Decatur, and also sees patients at Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, and St. Mary's Cancer Care Center in Decatur.

Dr. Kairouz received a Doctor of Medicine from Saint-Joseph University Faculty of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed an internship and residency program in the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Kairouz completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and University of Virginia Health System UVA in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Kairouz is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. In addition, Dr. Kairouz holds membership in the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
